Post mockup generator
A post drawn generically for a slide or a manual — no logo, no verification tick, no platform name, and the word MOCKUP on the picture where no setting can remove it.
It runs entirely in this browser tab: nothing is posted, nothing is scheduled, and nothing you type is uploaded.
Settings
- Name
- The name at the top of the page, and what the initials are made from.
- Handle
- Whatever goes under the name. It is drawn as text and checked against nothing.
- When
- Free text: "2h", "yesterday", whatever suits the slide.
- Look
- Choices: Dark, Light.
- Show the counts
- Invented numbers on a mockup. They are drawn because a slide looks odd without them.
- Likes
- A number from 0 to 1000000.
- Replies
- A number from 0 to 1000000.
- Width
- How wide the picture is drawn. It scales to whatever it is put into. A number from 400 to 900.
How to use it
- Paste your text into the box above, or open a file.
- Adjust the settings beside it until the result is what you wanted.
- Copy the result, or save it as a file. The result updates as you type.
Questions
- Can this post or schedule anything?
- No, and it never will from a page like this. Posting on a schedule needs an account, a key and a server; there is none of that here and no network request is made. The calendar plans, and the result says so.
- Are the character limits current?
- They are the published figures as of the month printed on every result. Platforms change them without notice and nothing here can check, which is exactly why the date is on the page rather than implied.
- Is anything I paste in stored?
- No. It stays in this tab, and in the link if you choose to share one. There is no account, no server and no history kept anywhere.
- Why do the mockups say MOCKUP on them?
- Because a picture that could pass for a screenshot of somebody's real account is a tool for making fake evidence. The label is drawn on the picture, no setting removes it, and the mockups imitate no particular application: no logo, no verification tick, no platform name.
