Hashtag generator

Tags out of your own words, spelled the way a tag has to be spelled — and ranked, counted and checked by nothing at all.

It runs entirely in this browser tab: nothing is posted, nothing is scheduled, and nothing you type is uploaded.

Settings

Shape
Capitals inside a tag are only for reading it: a tag is the same tag either way. Choices: all lower case, EachWordCapital, As written.
Keep the accents
An accented tag and its plain twin are two different tags, and only one of them is searched.
Join the words up
An underscore works everywhere and is read more easily; joined up is what most people write.
At most
Platforms differ, and a wall of thirty tags reads as a wall of thirty tags. A number from 1 to 30.
Laid out
Choices: One to a line, All on one line, After a gap.

How to use it

  1. Paste your text into the box above, or open a file.
  2. Adjust the settings beside it until the result is what you wanted.
  3. Copy the result, or save it as a file. The result updates as you type.

Questions

Can this post or schedule anything?
No, and it never will from a page like this. Posting on a schedule needs an account, a key and a server; there is none of that here and no network request is made. The calendar plans, and the result says so.
Are the character limits current?
They are the published figures as of the month printed on every result. Platforms change them without notice and nothing here can check, which is exactly why the date is on the page rather than implied.
Is anything I paste in stored?
No. It stays in this tab, and in the link if you choose to share one. There is no account, no server and no history kept anywhere.
Why do the mockups say MOCKUP on them?
Because a picture that could pass for a screenshot of somebody's real account is a tool for making fake evidence. The label is drawn on the picture, no setting removes it, and the mockups imitate no particular application: no logo, no verification tick, no platform name.
